This is great advice for everyone, and I love that you're modeling it on yourself. Finding the time for both Substack and my own fiction projects is always a challenge. Thanks for the reminder that each season calls for its own balance of output.
My gut tells me I’ll finish this manuscript and it’ll be my first novel. I can’t abandon it and I see it out there. But the key lesson from my messy drafts, all the pantsing, and the self-teaching I did until I landed on you as a book coach, is that I would never start another manuscript without proper plotting and structure and all other things you kindly brought to my attention.

Hi Abby - So glad it resonates with you. What you're feeling is so relatable. Balance of output is the perfect way to frame it. Happy writing!
Have been doing my own shifts in online content and social media. Glad you're taking the time to slow down and find the next best version!
Thanks Tedd. I love how we are aligned in many ways. Onward.

I’m so glad to read this update, Ghina. Happy writing!
Standing ovation for your shifting in new directions and taking initiative to create differently.
Very much looking forward to meeting a fellow Bend writer in late July.
Until then, raising a mug of tea to continuing on new trails.
Thank you, Louise. I’m looking forward to connecting as well. Cheers!
