Hi Matt - Thanks for your comment. I'm glad the concept resonates. And yours is a great question. Without going into a whole essay as a response (which can easily happen, lol), I will say that it's a turn away from tactics and turn toward a holistic approach. In other words, less about viewing our writing as a just a product, and more about how our writing work (the process and the product) are an extension of our creative expression. A writer can still have commercial goals, but they shouldn't lose themselves and their story message in the process. I'll continue to explore the idea of the whole writer in both my weekly podcast and newsletters. Hope you'll follow along and keep sharing!
